It is hard to define what Haider Ackermann is best at, because he puts so much detail and pursuit of perfection into every element of his designs. There are some pieces tho, where you just know Haider does it so much different and better from everybody else, that you can't go anywhere else looking for something like it, for example Zip-Hoodies. From the start of his menswear collections, he presented some of the most exquisite and outthought Hoodies that you can get. They really started to shake up the fashion world in 2014 with Kanye West wearing some of the FW14 models, creating a massive hype for Haider's Perth pieces. Due to the low production numbers they remain up until now some of the most sought after Zip Hoodies and get sold for thousands of Euros on the secondary market.

This particular model is a remake of the legendary FW14 Distressed Double Layer Hoodie and was produced for SS21. It comes in a washed dark Grey Perth Colorway which was never released before.
It was up until now only available at our local showroom and is now worlwide exclusively available online at Backyardarchive.

The Hoodie comes with beautiful detailing, a contrast panel running from top to bottom along the Raccagni Zipper and subtle distressing on multiple parts of the Piece.
They fit is very oversized, and less cropped than some other Haider Hoodies. The Double Layer Construction uses 2 Layer of Perth Cotton which makes the piece super heavy and cozy.

Unlike the SS21 Double Layer Hoodie we dropped in 2021, this one features all the exact detailing of the legendary FW14 Hoodie, with the same fit, refined details & distressing.
